Dr Robert Mattock

Dr. Robert Mattock researches the evolutionary genetics and taxonomy of Central Asian rose species and the cultural linkage between Rosa x damascena and rose oil production. Through his offshore CIO, St Fiacre, and its subsidiary Mattock Rose Science, Dr Mattock is now leading a collaborative research and project group which includes three parts of The University of Oxford working on the Oxford Damask Rose Project. They work together academically and organisationally He is also an Honorary Fellow at SKOPE in the Department of Education at Oxford University where his research involves horticultural apprentices, offender learning and work ethic.
