Lingxuan Chen is a DPhil student at the Department of Education, University of Oxford. Her doctoral research explores the endogenous agenda for social science research in China, drawing on policy discourse analysis, bibliometric analysis, and multi-stakeholder interviews. Before her DPhil, Lingxuan obtained her MSc in Education (Research Design and Methodology) with Distinction from the University of Oxford, and her BA in Education from Beijing Normal University with first-class honour. Lingxuan has also worked as a Research Assistant on the Centre for Global Higher Education ‘Research on Research’ project. Her research interests include endogenous research methodologies, Chinese higher education and research system, the research-policy-practice nexus, and educational leadership research.
