Dr Maia Chankseliani presented her paper on Escaping homelands with limited employment and tertiary education opportunities: Outbound student mobility from post-Soviet countries at the 59th Annual Conference of the Comparative and International Education Society in Washington DC, USA.

On 14 April Prof Ken Mayhew was one of the invited speakers at the first Learned Society of Wales International Symposium, held at Portmeirion The theme of the Symposium was “Economic Policies for Peripheral Economies” and Ken spoke on education and training.
