Bill Finnegan is a doctoral student at the School of Geography and the Environment at the University of Oxford. He is a member of the energy research group at the Environmental Change Institute, works at the Future of Education and Training for the Climate interdisciplinary hub, and is part of the doctoral enrichment scheme of the Alan Turing Institute. His research explores sustainability and climate education at secondary schools in the UK. He is interested in the social practices of school sustainability and the role of schools in preparing young people for a future shaped by climate change and our response to the climate crisis. Bill also uses digital storytelling in his research, is a contributor to The Conversation, and has produced short films for BBC Ideas.
