Apprenticeship Assessment: a review of policy and practice

This report reviews the relevant empirical literature and opinion pieces on End-Point Assessment (EPA). The intention is to inform Ofqual about the knowledge base that has developed since 2010 and the reform to apprenticeship assessment. Given that the research on EPA is known to be slight, we highlight key gaps in the literature and indicate where further analysis and research may be most needed.
