In this final episode of our first season, we reflect on all that we have learnt about the impending impact of COVID-19 on the UK’s labour market, education, and training. Highlights include what we would do as policymakers to address the issues that have been highlighted and a reflection on the positives that we can see in the predictions of doom and gloom of the impact of the pandemic.
We look forward to welcoming you back next season where we hope to explore issues around the increasing importance of science education and communication, the possibilities of skills development through informal education, and how training in sectors key to responding to the pandemic may have changed.
